Caroline Young is a partner at Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, a private equity firm focused on making investments alongside talented management teams in the lower middle-market. In her role, Caroline oversees all divestitures, collaborating with operations teams and portfolio-company management to focus on value creation and a company’s eventual exit. To date, Caroline has overseen the successful exits of more than 20 companies. In addition, Caroline works with sourcing teams on deal-generation initiatives. Prior to joining HKW in 2001, Caroline practiced law at Wooden & McLaughlin. She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont, graduating summa cum laude.
